Changing sides starts a new game.
Select a piece, then a highlighted square.
How to play
American checkers: Red moves first. Men move and capture diagonally forward. Captures are mandatory, and a multi-jump must be completed with the same piece. Any available complete capture sequence may be chosen.
Reaching the far row makes a king and ends the turn. Kings move and capture diagonally in either direction, one square or jump at a time. Win by leaving your opponent without a legal move.
Draws: threefold repetition, or 40 moves by each side with no capture or man moving.
